Variety: Tempranillo, Merlot, Syrah
Soft with light tannins and nice acidity. Gentle smoky aftertaste with sweet vanilla notes from the barrel and delicate aromas of cherry, caramel and spice. Light like a Pinot Noir but the Merlot gives it a nice, mild sweetness and berry fruit taste that cuts the acidity. Very tasty, goes well with smoked cheese and salami, cream based pasta sauces.
Vineyards: Viñedos y Bodegas Muñoz, Toledo, Spain.
