The “King of Cheese,” Parmgiano reggiano is a hard cheese made from the milk of cows raised in the valleys, in Emilia Romagna region.

Like its brother grana padano, it’s excellent served on its own as snack or antipasto. Grated over pasta and risotto, shaved atop salads. You can use it stirred into soups, broths, and sauces to add depth of flavour.
